NOTE: This box appeared as a temporary “Letterboxing Underground” box at many different events years ago. It is now a permanent plant in Arizona.

The wayward cat left the crowds near Cat Mountain and Bobcat Ridge. She slunk along the trails until she reached the intersection of her favorite trail (Little Cat) and the Yetman trail. To avoid any possible canine encounters, she streaked along the trail heading south for the equivalent of 90 human steps where she then noticed a palo verde on the right. This looked like a more clandestine spot for a furtive feline to nap, so she carefully crept over to examine it more closely and found the perfect place to lurk
